Upon watching the reception of the Cosmic Observatory's challenge mode reveal, we felt that Dagda could provide a bit better difficulty through general damage pressure. Today we've increased her attack damage by a bit and will be observing the results.

Expanded weapon proficiencies are coming with the second major update to Secrets of the Obscure. Read on to learn about the ranger's new weapon set: dual maces!

Bug Fixes: Fixed an issue that caused the Road to Heitor event chain in Inner Nayos to stall. Fixed an issue that prevented the first chapter of "Through the Veil" from displaying a pop-up notification above the compass when it is unlocked. Added a button that allows players to swap between viewing tracked Wizard's Vault tasks and tracked achievements in the HUD. Players whose total amount of astral acclaim is below the maximum storage ca may now claim Wizard's Vault task rewards that cause them to exceed the cap. Cosmic Observatory: Dagda's health has been reduced by 20% in normal mode.

We are temporarily removing rewards from the Road to Heitor meta event while we address an issue. We are working to resolve this as soon as possible and will keep you updated.

11/07/2023—Late Notes Fractals Silent Surf Fixed a bug that caused the respawn checkpoint to reset back to the entrance when a player joins a partially completed instance. Profession Skills Ranger Stalker's Strike: Increased the cooldown from 12 seconds to 25 seconds in PvP only. Untamed Perilous Gift: Reduced the duration from 3 seconds to 2 seconds in PvP only. Neurotoxin Burst: This skill no longer applies vulnerability in PvP only. Solar Brilliance: This skill no longer applies protection in PvP only. Reduced the healing per pulse from 170 to 130 and the healing power scaling from 0.15 to 0.125 in PvP only.

In order: Yes, Oneiros Spun armor is the third set you can purchase from Lyhr or the Astral Ward Mage (Outfitter). No, Strike CMs will not be required. The Tier 1 armor listed for Update 2 is the legendary armor. The Tier 2 armor coming in Update 3 is a variant unlock. It's similar to how the gen 3 legendary weapon variants work (although it's not a strictly 1:1 comparison) Yes, Convergences will award those essences you mentioned.

I can shed a little light on why this is: While you are only messaging yourself, all whispers are still messages going through the server, regardless of whether they are going right back to you or to someone else. The rate limiting is also a protection mechanism for our system. (Incidentally, I will often pop into my home instance and use say chat in there for things like this.)
