For MCC only Halo 3 has had major tournaments as far as I know. One was just this past weekend in London. There were also some in January and May. There might have been some for HCE and H2 but I can’t remember. If they were they were very small.
Also, Halo 2 Anniversary had an esports run back when it launched.
It's ready when it's ready! And it'll still be there for folks to play regardless of timing. Given the crazy number of Steam Wishlists, I think we'll be ok (and I certainly wouldn't want to just arbitrarily delay it given how long its already taking)
Was it ever mentioned if the only way to get this pack is through the Ultimate edition or will it be available to purchase separately?
correct the Halo Reach Character Pack is exclusive to Gears 5 Ultimate Edition - which you can purchase or get via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
Honestly surprised they haven't had some sort of Gears themed armour set by now. In fact, before this the only crossover between MS IP's I can think of is the Chief themed costume in Fable 2 and the warthog turning up in Forza.
