@BurdenOfCommand For invasions its a different matter. its a problem we are working on constantly because of the added complexity of the big delay before they can be enacted, more limited knowledge about enemy defenses and the guesstimate on "how fast will my supply run out"

@BurdenOfCommand There are also fun places where we intentionally make the AI misread numbers for historic reasons. Our AI is not dumb enough to declare war on USA while war is going on in china, so we give it a massively inflatable ego.
@BurdenOfCommand AI logic is built around fuzzy data "whats the worst and the best possible" and depending on what its trying to do it will balance its choice between those

I sometimes wonder how different AI dev slack for HOI4 is from real strategic planning sessions of the war :D

The infantry division is the backbone of any army, and can be customised with a versatile set of battalions.
Do you prefer to go with straight infantry and save on production costs, or load up with anti-tank, anti-air and lots of support companies?
@consul_prior @HOI_Game The idea is that there are different point limit hexes and towards center you need kill team battles to progress etc. We have special rules for leveling the leaders of the armies (if they survive) as well.
We think we can count it... what does everyone else think? 😉
We run a big campaign map game of #warhammer40k at the office and we got special rules for encirclements.... So I've now cut off the space wolves. @HOI_Game am I too late to submit this for the best encirclement challenge?
