This week: ‘I Swear I’m Not a Byzantophile’. To do this, you will need to reform the Byzantine Empire as Greece.

We're almost there! Less than a week to go before the release of Man the Guns on February 28th. In this video, Game Director Dan Lind takes you through some of the key features of the expansion.
In Man the Guns, Admirals will be able to specialise with traits that offer situational bonuses, just like Generals.
One Admiral could be excellent at submarine warfare, another at commanding your main battle fleet.

Let’s remind ourselves of a subtle but significant change coming in Man the Guns: Naval Treaties.
These will restrict the sizes of ships that major powers can build… at least until someone violates them.

All of this happened whilst the ship’s captain, Edwin Evans, was severely wounded after a hit from the battleship Yamato to the bridge.
Missing in action after the Johnston eventually sank, he was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
During the Battle off Samar, Johnston repeatedly pressed attacks on much larger Japanese ships, with torpedoes and gunfire.
She also single-handedly forced seven enemy destroyers to turn from their advance.
The USS Johnston was a Fletcher-class destroyer commissioned in October 1942, and which saw service in the Pacific theatre.
Her most famous action took place during the Battle of the Leyte Gulf, in October 1944.
