@Mark84594053 We advising using a small work around to prevent getting this bug while our team works to investigate and resolve this as soon as possible.
The current workaround is players can use their joystick to pan over to the "SPECTATE" button instead of using the spectate shortcut key.
@OSUKage We are currently in the process of rolling out the server restart.
To prevent losing any match progression, the safest bet is to wait to join a match until we've announced the restart has concluded.

Another quick reminder to NOT use the spectate shortcut when using controller. Instead navigating over to spectating using the thumbsticks.
@sketchsawyer With Update 1.12 we've implemented a new "Wildcard Contract" that features exclusively Night Maps
While this Wildcard is active we've also removed Night Maps from the Standard Contract
This system is in testing, but we hope it will allow teams to better prepare for their match
We will be making a slight change to the rewards that can be earned by extracting with the bounty from a “Night” Time of Day Wildcard mission.
Successfully extracting with a bounty token will now reward an extra 100 Hunt Dollars per token.

To work around the bug, use the cursor with your right stick and press A on the spectate button instead of pressing X right away. This should allow you to spectate and remain ressable.
@apm_rob We are working on a fix!
In the meantime, you can avoid this issue by not pressing the X button when going into spectator mode, instead use the on-screen cursor!

@RealLoneGod You can only have 2 Quests active, so you'll have to cancel the ones from Billy Story if you want to work on Ward of The Reptilian one. Or you could do one each! Up to you!
