There is an obvious overuse of the mine hack in squad games... How can this be resolved?
I think the biggest issue with these mines is how effective they are at area denial from a distance. I've thought of a few ways that might balance the mines:

I think the biggest issue with these mines is how effective they are at area denial from a distance. I've thought of a few ways that might balance the mines:
- Make it so you can place multiple mines (increase with fuses, starts with one), but they don't move and will only explode on close proximity to enemy. This would make it much more difficult to place offensively.
or - Make it so that you have to physically place the mine, there is no distance spawning, you literally place the mine at your feet. This would prevent players from forcing area denial with minimal to no risk to themselves.
or - Allow a mechanism that allows the opponent to commandeer the mine (hold F from a distance or something). When in this "commandeer'd" state, the cool down for the player who placed the mine is frozen until the mine despawns or is destroyed.
