[2020] Can't form a party with friend

Both me and my friend have managed to get a hyperscape key but we can't join each other after invited each other it tries to join for a bit and gives the error 'error joining squad' and gives an error code of; Orchid-EOOC. I don't know if those are 0s or Os though with the font. This happens if I try to join him or he tries to join me, we tried this in the walk around lobby and also inside the play 2d lobby.

I tried to submit this as a bug report on https://support.ubisoft.com/ but the support chat is temporarily unavailable, asking me to choose another support method... even though that's the only support method...
