My friends and I were playing a regular squads match when someone who appears to be invisible with the crown, takes the crown, but does not receive damage and then we later see that he is one of the "Echos" or a dead spectating player running around and he was able to run around with the crown, all whilst the time is still counting down. The time gets to 0 seconds and the game ends with the player winning.
