I CAN'T play on ps4, i start the game and he gives me connection error

Fettuchi_18: Hi there, Fettuchi_18! It may be that you're unable to run the game at minimum requirements! Laptop models of the required graphic/video cards may work, but we have an FAQ here about these specific situations. If you have checked to ensure that the graphics cards were up to date, can you please tell me what error codes you are receiving?

Hey YOUNOTSTONK, thanks for reaching out, welcome to forums and sorry to hear about the issue you ran into there.

I've had a look at our server status and was unable to identify any degradation or outage around the time of your contact and servers have been working as intended, therefore can I just double-check what is the exact error message you receive?

In the meantime, if you haven't already, give the following steps a go and see whether that helps.

Hi there! The 'update required' message is a little misleading, as it actually means that Steam is unable to detect base game access.

If you are unable to locate the details of your original account, please send us the Steam CD key you have, which you can find by right-clicking on ED in your Steam library, going to Manage > CD Keys. We should then be able to trace the account this key was redeemed with and help you get into game! You can send us a ticket with your keys here - https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us
