[2020] Discrepancies between launchers...

Downloaded HyperScape via Epic Games.
I verified it and it's all good.
I noticed the game auto-launches UPlay game launcher and it's really installed HyperScape via UPlay.
So I tried verify game files in UPlay and it says all corrupted, and forces me to download the 10+GB files again.

I'm sorry to hear you encountered this. Just to confirm, did you first install the game via Epic Games, or have you previously installed the game on Ubisoft Connect prior to using Epic?
