Cautionary tale

I’m locking this thread as it has both taken a very poor turn, and gone so far off the rails it’s now part of the galactic federation.

Last Epoch is not a place to implement ideological change. It is not a place for social reform. It is a video game, where people go to escape from the real world and have fun slaying a bunch of evil monsters and getting loot. Real world politics, religion, and ideology are not only against the rules because they tend to create a lot of anger and vitriol, but because they have no place here to begin with.

Our rules are designed and implemented to try to make our community the most welcoming place it can be for as many people as possible, politics have nothing to do with it. To try to create a place where people can just have fun - because that’s what it’s all about. Fun.

We will always listen to your feedback, including regarding our moderation policies and actions. However, we will not make changes to our policies which make less people feel welcome in the community. Please remember, this is a place to escape from the trials and tribulations of the world, to have fun. If you can remember that one thing, generally all the rules are already met.
