I wonder what the range of her ult will be. Given that her passive puts dream dust to all abilities, could she potentially throw her swirlseed down a lane before going into farming jungle and if it lands on enemy champion, she could make that champion sleep all the way from the jungle?

Weird how she was labelled as a mid-range skirmisher but she has no mobility outside of a conditional MS boost and no hard CC outside her ult.

Pretty fast. Not rammus fast, but she can keep it up for longer by hitting jungle camps. Current numbers (obviously subject to change):
Each stack grants 7-11% (based on Q rank) movement speed for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Stacks fall off 1 at a time, at a rate of 1/second.

Its a pretty slow skill shot. Its pretty hard to hit on someone without boomer reflexes (like me).

yes it does. Although it has a cone explosion on the back half.

not really. If you hit a champ you reveal them tho.

Assuming you're past the inhib, yup! Otherwise you'll find yourself rolling it straight into a turret.

She can wave clear and stay safe against a lot of melee matchups, but she gets outscaled by most every top laner. She has a lot of agency to avoid fights with you, but if she does, she won't be hitting the midgame spikes she needs to to be effective.
And if she becomes abusive in top, we can nerf her, don't worty.

She has three movement anims. Zero stacks, 1-4 stacks, and 5 stacks.
how does her ult work with sylas?
When Sylas takes her ult, his skills apply the dream dust that he can use to sleep them. He doesn’t get the damage from the passive though.

The video said it's blocked by terrain. Doesn't that mean that it'll hit turrets? Feel like it'd be hard to angle it from fountain so it won't hit the inhibitors or turrets and go all the way to lane

How are you supposed to stack that up? If the stacks fall off at a rate of 1 per second, and she can only get one stack from each cast, the only way that will ever stack is if Q has a CD less than 1 second. As it’s 4 seconds, you’re never going to be able to get a second stack. Plus, the movement speed lasts longer than the stack? How does that work?
They last for 5 seconds, after which they begin falling off.
I feel like this is the key thing that's missing from the video. Watching it, I felt like her kit was just two aoe damage spells and a generic projectile that slows. Not exactly exciting dynamic stuff, but what you described sounds fun.

Hello! Mind if I ask a question? What was the justification for going true damage on the Q over adaptive? While I realize she's supposed to be a jungler, I feel like she's shaping up to be really feast/famine as a top laner. She'll either not deal enough damage/not have enough sustain to get rolling, or she'll relentlessly stomp you everytime you walk back to lane with an overwhelming MS stacking passive, a long range slow (needs skill though so not as bad) and an unavoidable hard CC if you fail to dodge anything.
I would be worried of the scenario where people take her top, she gets an early advantage from a bad play or her jungler ganking, and she just runs you down over and over. You won't even be able to tank it out because she has true damage on the Q. This wouldn't be a problem but unlike Darius, she has way better MS in addition to a slow. I feel like she'll just CC you with E/R, and then rip your HP bar with true damage Q while you can't move.
The true damage is there so she can fight tanks. She loves being able to just hit them and back off.
Keep in mind she's not really a burst character unless you build deathcap + other heavy AP items, so unless she gets really really ahead, she isn't one shotting you. She is very squishy baseline, and really can't stand toe to toe with a darius or sett unless she's waaaaay far ahead.
This is actually a very important part of her kit. Her kit, asides from the speed, looks super super lackluster, and with her ratios and damages now on pbe I can't imagine how she'd work.
The speed could very well change that but I'm still not even sure.
She has quite a long mastery curve we've found. I expect her win rate to be pretty low for a time while people are figuring out the exact amount of risk they should be taking. If she ends up weak though, we'll buff her.
Just be careful with the buffs.
The E > R combo looks frustrating to play against.
Hope the hit and run spacing playstyle ends up working out, as I do like that sorta of thing. It works been well with Jhin in the late game.
E is definitely a weird skill shot. I observed a lot of frustration with the spell initially but people eventually grew to dodge it. Its a pretty slow missile, you just need to get used to how it travels.

Hm, I think I'm still pretty concerned that players will adopt a weird brand of non-interaction using something like phase rush where they drop their rotation for a 1/4 of an enemies health, run away, and then do it again 15 seconds later. (Saving ult for clenching the kill)
But, I'm open to seeing how this plays out! She doesn't have any built in sustain, and I think the champion looks thematically well done. Hopefully this one will be fairly easy for you guys to fine tune balance thanks to kit simplicity. Best of luck to you all!
Its a risk point for top lane for sure. If that becomes the optimal way to play her, we'll nerf it. Like you said, the lack of sustain means any ranged or character with lock down will win trades heavily
Does she have trouble keeping mana up? Any champ that needs to spam abilities to keep themselves up (Kassadin R jumps to mind) would naturally tend that way.
In jungle it's very manageable. Esp once you get runic you're good to go. In lane its harder; you probably need to itemize a bit more mana.

From what I've read of her kit and the explanation of everything, her movement speed is going to keep stacking with ability hits on monsters AND champs up to like 5 stacks. If each stack grants 7-11% (based on Q rank) movement speed for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times, She could rip through camps with her Q and a tiamat, proc them sweet MS stacks, then f**king zoom out of the river/bush and land her W+Ult to proc sleep and then nail them with her Q close in for bonkers damage then reset for another rotation in a hit & run skermishing loop.
Is that kind of the idea there?
More or less, yeah. She doesn’t need tiamat though. And if you want to keep movement speed when going in for a tank, you need to plan such that you have a scuttle crab to hit on the way.

No, but she’ll trigger lillia’s damage.

It doesn’t build into anything she wants, and she has no AD scaling. Also stopping to auto attack tends to be pretty dangerous for her. After a couple items, she’s better off just casting spells and keep moving.

Any particular reason for edge Q to deal the +100% bonus as true damage rather than ignoring 50% enemy MR, or is that just how it works because it's almost interchangeable?
Actually it was because I wanted to make sure it appropriately hit camps harder. Some monster camps have negative MR where that would not be as useful.
Last question from me; What was the decision behind making W use clamped range (casts to max range in the direction if targeted outside) rather than having her walk into range? Using center W and not accidentally undershooting it on a static (asleep) target might take a few games getting used to.
It was a choice between two feels bads. If I made it targeted, it would feel weird to use as a move spell, and as a clamped range spell, it feels weird to sweet spot with it. I don’t love how it feels but after testing both, I think this one is overall better.
Yeah I tested various versions of other scalings for the outer ring, but true damage had the right mix of ‘freedom to start on either buff’ and clearing potential she needed. That’s not to say I’m unwilling to change it, it’s just that my best read in our testing environment was that this created the better jungler.

Theoretically. It will stop on terrain, and turrets count, so the angle would need to be pretty precise.
