Hello all,

We previously announced that the level 79 to 82 hunting zone, Forgotten Island, will be a part of the Lineage II Classic: Saviors update. Unfortunately, we have come across technical issues with the area during testing, and have decided to exclude it from the upcoming update.

Forgotten Island will be released in a future update, and in the meantime, we hope you look forward to the rest of Saviors content next week.

The Dev team was able to confirm that the Damaged Spellbooks will drop in the Fafurion update for the overseas version. I am still waiting on the translation of the design documents for the update, but I did find some information in the document regarding the exchange rate on the Korean servers.

In Korea, you need 55 of the Damaged Spellbooks to exchange for a 20% chance to receive a Chapter 1 Forgotten Spellbook or an 80% chance to receive a small amount back of the Damaged Spellbooks that were used for the exchange. The drop of the Damaged Spellbooks for level 99+ monsters is around 45% in the Korean drop table. We'll have more details to share once we receive our build, translated patch notes, and design documents.

There is an issue that Forgotten Skills at level 30 is allowed to be learned again. The skills cannot be learned more than once and any attempts to do so will use the costs and not grant its effects.

We understand you have questions and concerns regarding the Damaged Spellbooks in the Fafurion update. We don't have a lot of information at this time regarding Damaged Spellbooks, but we're working on getting answers about them from the dev team.

There will be an unscheduled maintenance for 1 hour at 11 a.m. PST to activate the Forgotten Skills.

We cannot answer this question at this time since we do not have the Fafurion update from the Dev team, but I will ask if they plan to include the Damaged Spellbooks in the content update.

Please try to register again. You should be able to register successfully if you are eligible.

We are investigating the issue now for the Forgotten Skills missing. We will update the thread if an emergency maintenance will be needed to resolve this issue.

i mean.... really is it going to be like OE skills? where you can fail and go back to square one?  or are you 100% and safe to enchant once you spend and level each level?

There is no fail rate on upgrading the Forgotten Spellbook skills.
