Beside the obvious sleep breaks, I think this is a good opportunity to share a bit more about my role on the team! While I am the Lost Ark Community Manager, a lot of the work that I’m currently doing is internal, whether that’s engaging in meetings and discussions, sharing and reporting on feedback, helping write or work on patch notes, communications, etc, etc. While the public part of my job is engaging with players across channels, I do a ton of engaging across teams internally as well (whether that’s with production, SGR, product, whoever).

With how much work the teams have been putting in since launch, a ton of my time is currently focused internally, which means sometimes I’m not around on the Forums or in player channels as much as I’d always like to be. But the intention is never to ignore players – you’ll be seeing Shadow_Fox and Seawolf in here as well, as they’re working hard (in addition to all of their other projects!!) to help make sure players know they are heard, even when my attention might be elsewhere. We’ve also got the lovely Maselbart who just started to support our German community, and as he ramps up he will become a familiar face as well. :slight_smile:

TLDR; Our CMs jobs go far beyond just player engagement, but that is still an extremely important element of Community Management that we are ramping up on wherever we can. Also this post includes a list of other stuff I do at work, so there’s some free bonus ammo for the people who want to get upset at me for whatever reason :laughing: Truly something for everyone here.

We are definitely working through our plans and a message from our teams broadly address this – I totally get the urgency, and I am extremely eager to share it with you all, but we are locking things into place now

For what it’s worth, DST timers are being fixed in our weekly maintenance (tonight, full announcement out very soon). The hotfix didn’t work as intended obviously, but we didn’t want to bring the game down for an extra maintenance for one issue.

I have warmly invited him to hop into English threads as well :slight_smile: He’s still fairly new to the team, so ramping up will take time (he’s doing awesome work already honestly), but that’s the goal!!

It is coming :smiley: I know it’s taken some time, but we have been making sure all of our teams are aligned (Amazon and Smilegate alike) and working on it together – literally. SGR is in one of our offices right now.

Actually, this happens fairly regularly, haha! It isn’t the first time they’ve been out here, starting even before launch – I know that a lot of folks seem to think that SGR is out of the loop despite the fact that they remain the developer of the Western version of the game, but we’ve got weekly meetings and reports sent back and forth, daily direct emails/messages, all that jazz. We work together every day (though the trips aren’t as frequent because of the distance).
