Two questions for today.
First, at the current rate of acquisition(and I say this as someone who buys every season pass for context) and assuming the stars align and we get extraordinary chest luck, we’re looking at getting our first level 15 rune in about 3 years from now. Is this intended?
Second, is this dungeon season a subtle warning? A “be carful what you wish for” type scenario. It feels we’re being punished on one hand and taunted on the other by the higher end rewards that are only really obtainable if you put the kind of time and effort of a full-time job would require. Historically I have bought the dungeon passes for some extra perks, and to support CNE, this season it basically became a pay to win feeling of HAVING to buy it due to the dungeon point buff.
Cheers,
A disappointed player

Hi HexxarTek,
Runes are intended to be a long term investment system. That said, over the year they've been out, we've increased the way to get them from just the weekly chest purchases to being included as season rewards and starting soon the level 7 random rune reward from Tier 7 events, so there may be more changes as the game continues.
Level 25 is still the intended season completion mark, and any rewards past that are bonuses. As said on stream on Tuesday, when we make the point change, we'll probably remove the runes from the rewards past level 40, so players don't feel like they're missing out on not going for the most efficient point dungeon resets.
