@WotC_Lexie:
I hear you loud and clear on wanting private messaging on the forums, but it isn't something we'll be implementing. Sorry about that!
Well, I guess that answers that. Any reasoning behind that decision, Lexie, or are we to be left in the dark?
(edited to tag mod)
Because that isn't something we'd like to make available.

A flashlight would be nice.... or at the very least a damp matchstick.

There are a lot of reasons as to why private messaging won't be happening, and I'm not going to do discuss them. :slight_frown:

Question, is Golos banned only as a commander? Or can he still be used within a deck for brawl?

Golos is banned altogether.

Just wanted to 100% confirm. Do you get wildcards for crafting Oko/Once Upon a Time/Veil after the first ban in standard and before the next Arena patch? Thanks!

Great question! You will receive a Wildcard for each Oko that you crafted AFTER the Standard ban, but you will only receive a maximum four Wildcards back. So for example:

You have two copies of Oko, but oh no! He was just banned in Standard! You were then given two Wildcards (one for each Oko). Then you decide to craft two more Oko's for Historic, because you think Historic needs more elk. Well now that he is banned in Historic, you get two MORE Wildcards back.

Now if you crafted four Oko's before the Standard ban, and got four Wildcards back, you already got your max four Wildcards.

Hopefully this makes sense!

Don't know the best way to send feedback on the event, so here's this comment. Thanks for the event, awesome change if pace and I had a valid reason to play an not that great WBR Knights deck. Also cool to see some of the other decks people used, especially since I didn't run into too much meta outside of RDW.

Looking forward to the next one.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

0 patches, as it turns out. It's been a long time since our last release. #wotc_staff

You could also just use "Good Game". It's okay to lose, it happens to everyone (and fairly often). If someone needs to learn how to pilot a deck, unranked queues are the perfect place to do it.
But as stated a few times already. GG gets taken as an insult by a portion of the playerbase already... specifically because tilted players only got GG to throw at you

Any emote can be taken as an insult, depends on context. Just say "Good Game" and move on with your life. One of my favorite things about MTG Arena is that I can play a lot of games rather quickly. Say GG, concede/lose, and queue up again!

[[Nicol Bolas, Dragon God]] gonna also be a sad lil' lizard like normal planeswalkers. "You forgot me..."

(Also, thanks for your daily-shop posts, you saved me the trouble so I can pass on today's one)

We sent Bolas and [[Chandra, Fire Artisan]] to their rooms with everyone else. They do *technically* have passives, but they really aren't going to work the way players would want, so we thought we'd save folks a little pain.

And, uh, it looks like [[Jace, Arcane Strategist]] got hit with the banstick despite having a viable passive? That's an error on our part, but at this point, we're probably gonna let it ride. Sorry about that. :|
