Moesh has done some absolutely fantastic work on the Ancient Cities and they wouldn't exist without him, please show him some love <3

We don't have the /locatebiome command in Bedrock yet, but you can use /locate ancientcity in today's Minecraft Beta/Preview.

The previous Minecraft Preview build available to Xbox Insiders inadvertently included prototype code for raytracing support on Xbox consoles. This early prototype code has been removed from Preview and doesn't signal near future plans to bring raytracing support to consoles.

The Allays and Ancient Cities have arrived in today's Java Snapshot!

Except players who leave floating trees... Those players make me sad 😔

I correct this miss-conception again and again but it keeps coming back!

The Gameplay Design team work on BOTH Bedrock and Java! We design for both, we listen to feedback from both and we develop on both!

We love all our players equally 😊💜

For my current focus, I would love to hear feedback on the ancient cities and how they've changed, we made quite big changes and also a lot of changes to the loot tables :)

Allays, Ancient Cities (with many tweaks!), Sculk Shrieker changes, and minecarts with X that drop as one item when broken. Enjoy!

There are some differences between this Allay in the snapshot and the Allay in the betas. For example, Allay's throwing arc is very different! Try it out!

Both versions will be the same at the end, this is just to collect feedback about the different options!
