So who are we really? Keep reading to learn more about your Community Managers!

Hi everyone!

I’m Luxendra (she/her), one of the Community Managers for New World!

I’ve been running feedback threads, some bug investigating, and posting release/patch notes and other Official News pieces.

As of the end of March, with Aenwyn joining us(!!!), I’m focusing on more fun community things like working with the New World team to host events and producing the Dev Videos to help increase transparency and improve communications from the Dev team. However, I’ll still be running feedback threads, doing some bug hunting, and helping support all the other neat things that comes with being part of the Community Team.

Some fun facts:

• I am firmly on the pizza without pineapple side
• Fishing in New World is my jam
• I competed in some Overwatch tournaments in college

I spend a lot of time more “behind the scenes” as part of the Community Manager team making sure that things like our forums software, moderation, and overall feedback loop are working as best as they can while pushing for better improvements as time goes on. I’ve been around for a bit and will remain around for quite a while as well.

Some fun facts:

• Pizza is the food of the people and no one can tell you what toppings you put on your pizza
• If I am heads down and working I will usually park my character next to a waterfall and listen to that plus the music to stay focused on my tasks
• I’m an avid disc golfer and try and get at least one round in every week

Hey all!

I am Tosch (he/him), Community Manager mainly for the German speaking markets (but here and there also for other languages ). I am based in Munich, Germany and have been a member of the New World/Amazon Games Community Team since December 2019. As the German CM I am working on a lot of different things, for example: the forums, discord, social media, moderation, feedback loops, content creators, events and more.

Some fun facts about me:

• I am a passionate golfer - current HCPI 20 (started in Aug 2020)
• I love making music and play multiple instruments + I sing
• I love travelling the world and visit new places together with my fiancée.
• Back in the “old” days I competed in a lot of esports tournaments for a game called “Day of Defeat”, for which I also a) created an amateur online esports league (CWL) and b) did some co-commentating for GIGA and ESL-TV (which there might be clips out there).
• Before joining Amazon I wow-rked for another big MMO (Ill let you guess which one )

I’m new to the team, but in such a short space of time I’ve already seen what an awesome community we have here in France! You’ve all been super nice and welcoming, so merci beaucoup

I’m Shadow_Fox (she/her), one of the newest Community Managers for New World!

I am so honored and excited to be an official part of the team. Between play testing New World before it was even called New World to lurking in both the forums and discord since their creation! Before joining you all here I was the Community Manager for CORSAIR and full-time partnered streamer with Twitch. Experiencing a little bit of every part of the industry has really helped me understand the struggles each group has. Including being a passionate gamer! I can’t wait to work with each of you to increase the communication between teams.

Some fun facts:

• I’m a born and raised east coast girl. The west coast is much more relaxed in personality and I don’t miss the snow… too much.

• I’m an active member of a community pursuing research and recreation of pre-seventeenth century skill, including sword play.

• I started a new hobby during the pandemic. Taking care of plants. I went from a few to over a hundred. I might have a prob… passion.

Once again, so very excited to be here and become an active member of the New World community, we’re in this together!

I’m Aenwyn (she/her), one of the Community Managers for New World!

You’ll often see me diving into bug reports to understand your experience in game and relay it to our team for review. When there’s an update, I’ll be letting you know what our patch notes entails and when we’ll be down for maintenance. Beyond that, I’ll be working behind the scenes to make sure you have a great experience in New World!

Some fun facts:

• If I see delicious food in media, I’ll crave it until I finally cave in and cook/order it.
• Gathering and crafting is my jam to the point of losing track of time mining.
• I have too many hobbies to name and the list keeps growing.

Fenne (she/her), reporting in! As the newest member of the community management team, I’ll be working to ensure that player feedback is captured and working with our team to see what kind of fun events we can do with players just to name a few. You may have seen me around the forums a few times already!

• Unlike Luxendra, I only eat pizza with pineapple!
• I’m new to New World but not MMOs in general
• I love fighting games
