Nothing wrong with trying to find a healthy balance. Feedback is important to the team although we do understand that some choices made won’t ever have everyone happy. I can bring this topic up with the team and see what their thoughts are.

When it comes to weapon balance… I think its very clear that it’s a difficult and long journey to find that actual balance. The devs intention is to make every weapon have its own strengths and weaknesses. This way its a unique experience and benefits a player to learn multiple forms.

It is helpful to know your questions about weapon balance or even your assumptions of what goes into the entire weapon process. I know the Daves are really passionate about this topic!

I super appreciate this thread! This is a great conversation to have and while we won’t be able to answer everything on a dev video, the devs sometimes pop in here on the forums and might be able to answer some questions here too!

Also, I believe your concern was would we address the questions in this post in this most recent dev video… please keep in mind that we record these, then are sent off to be polished, have details added to them and then launched. All while working around everyone’s schedule and most of us still WFH due to COVID. This was filmed before your post… we didn’t intentionally ignore it.

With that being said! Keep the questions coming!!! Can’t make ANY promises but it’s always great to know what our players are curious about!

PTR: Summer Patch Notes - Patch 2

We have a new PTR update coming in today so we’re still testing, implementing feedback, and working on quashing some bugs. Once it’s ready to be released, stay tuned for the Official News announcement for our regular post!
