Thanks for catching this! We’ve confirmed this is a bug and are working on a fix.

To clarify some questions in this thread… The Critical that happens during a headshot should trigger perks the same way as a regular (random) Critical as long as the perk generally specifies Critical hits and not anything more specific!

Hopefully that clears up any confusion!

We’re aware players who abandoned the quest / salvaged quest items before our fix are blocked from completing these quests. We’re investigating a solution.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but this bug always makes me laugh. We’re working on a fix. For what it’s worth, it means you died to Great Axe not a Orichalcum Logging Axe.

As I was tagged on another post about the same situation, I’m going to put my response from that thread here as well.

Unfortunately, no one on the forums has the ability to investigate bans but I’ve passed this on to our Game Moderation team. I’ll be closing this thread (and the other one) as moderation decisions and actions are only discussed between that team and the involved player.

It’s definitely been suggested and passed on to the team but while the team makes their decision, I believe that, in-game, you are able to change your faction as long as the faction cooldown isn’t in place.

As you mentioned this is not banneable as you’re using game mechanics, not abusing any cheats or exploits just using a really effective weapon combo, we review all penalties by hand so as long as you’re following the Code of Conduct you should be on the clear.

About that cheating notification, that is really odd, because normally for cases of confirmed cheating we would issue a penalty directly as to not let the cheating player ruin the experience for more people, I would recommend to appeal the ban trough here just in ...
