I hope this has been addressed

Invulnerability on the flotilla was added, you'll see it in tomorrow's update, as well as PTS here shortly.

Have a fix for this that'll be in the next update.

Unless we were to remove the dates from the campaign chapters altogether (which is a little counterproductive to campaigns' original intent,) the questions would still come up. Saw that a lot with Campaign 01. We were optimistic about the original timeline, and I was hoping the caveat on-stream would allay some concerns if the date needed to slide.

This was mentioned in the Livestream, but I'll reiterate it here: We're not going to shove the map out for the sake of hitting an arbitrary date.

We're currently in the process of deciding what our timeline will be, based on the remaining scope of work and test turnaround. You'll see some official communication regarding that, and our intended test schedule, later this week.

Did you go through the new player tutorial on any character prior to this? Trying to track down repro steps for this issue.

Eh, wouldn't go that far. Anyone with a long memory for this sort of thing will tell you that it's been on both sides of the fence. Sometimes the weapons start weak and get tuned up (Thumper,) sometimes there's some experimentation that goes awry (Canis.) Mores the latter in this case.

The splash damage on paper for Fracture is pretty low, but the soft traits of the rest of the weapon are what pushes it over the line. Namely the 40 round mag and perfect hipfire with Lightweight Arms. We've never done perfect accuracy while airborne, but have been inching closer to it with weapons like the Horizon, so that's a concept that's being felt out a bit.

If you removed the splash, I'm not entirely convinced that the perfect hipfire wouldn't still raise complaints later on (afterall, the weapon still hits hard, and right now we're all focused on Fracture Bolts,) but it might be worth continuing to find the answer to that question.

Is that true for the 2nd Anniversary guns from 2015 too? I was always wondering why they were orange and it'd be funny if this was the reason.

Actually, those use the decal channel (UV3) to map the orange racing stripes to those weapons. The green flames on the Ravenous weapons do the same thing, as well as the skull decal on the Gallows LMG.

Hey, this is something we want to be able to do, but tech doesn't quite support yet. Infantry weapons, very specifically, don't inherit empire tint, and it needs to be debugged as to why. I'm hoping it won't be too difficult to resolve once we've got time to look at it, but it's pretty low on the priority list.

Once it's fixed, we'll also need to go back fix any weapons currently using empire tint, which includes weapons like the Endeavor series (the orange is using our "empire tint" channel.) Fortunately there are very few of those as of yet. Then we'll need to ensure there's no other knock-ons from the changes, and we're off to the races.

Yeah, this is yuck. Never been a fan of the opaque shields, they've always felt weird for both sides. If someone wants to put together a list of where they still exist, I can make the adjustments.

If you remove the outfit loyalty/merit loss upon leaving, I think the new system won't really have any flaws.

This is something to consider. Could be specific to NSO given the nature of the faction, if it came down to it.

Hey there. I'm paying attention to the feedback on this topic, and will weigh it in the balance.

To clarify some of the points, and share rationale behind the design.

Membership is required to join an outfit as NSO

This is true. On Live, you can't actually play your NSO character unless you have membership, so effectively nothing here changes for veterans.

People who stop paying for membership have to get kicked from their outfits

You do not get kicked from your outfit when your membership has ended, but currently lose access to outfit chat and war asset access. Losing access to the outfit coordination, basically putting you in robot jail, is to prevent players from playing for both teams at the same time. Example: You're in a TR outfit, but your outfitmates are fighting for NC. This doesn't represent the behavior we want to see in-game.

There is no reason to play nso...
