We asked you to snap photos for three challenges, and you definitely showed off your AR photography skills! You’ve shown us the powerful bond between you and your Pokémon and the beautiful habitats that they interact with. We’ve been especially blown away by your limitless creativity in the last challenge and beyond.

The Pokémon GO Safari Zone event in Sentosa, Singapore, was a great success! Thank you to the Trainers who visited Sentosa Island—the State of Fun—throughout the five-day event.

Over 95,000 Trainers from all over the world visited Sentosa Island, walking 441,000 km and catching a total of 14.1 million Pokémon. As Trainers explored the coast, they met a special surprise: a massive, 20-foot-tall inflatable Lapras on Palawan Beach, where Trainers enjoyed taking #GOsnapshot photos. In the Safari Zone, Tropius and Unown also appeared more often, and Shiny Shuckle appeared all over the world to celebrate the Sentosa Safari Zone. Thank you, Trainers—your excitement and enthusiasm made this an unforgettable event.

We are excited to announce that Shiny Meltan is back for a limited time! Meltan, a mysterious and rare Pokémon, only appears when the Mystery Box is opened in Pokémon GO. If you’re lucky, you may encounter Shiny Meltan when you open the Mystery Box from Wednesday, April 24, at 1:00 p.m. PDT until Sunday, May 5, at 1:00 p.m. PDT!

The key to catching Meltan is the Mystery Box, which can be obtained by sending a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to the Nintendo Switch titles Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
