Additionally, the catapult is able to shoot something 3 tiles away. So I think a days walk (which the internet is telling me is upwards of 30km) is probably a bit too much.

Canonically, the cities don't actually stack. That's just an abstraction.

Not sure about the battalions vs single units in representation, haven't heard that before and it would imply units within the battalions are dying then being resurrected when healed.

I can confirm that they are battalions, not single units.

And no, not resurrected.

You really don't want a 13 second song on loop forever.

Any other units being rebalanced, or just tech/resource distribution?

I can't talk about it

Any chance farms and aquaculture ate getting combined? It feels like with the current resource distribution you need so many techs to grow your cities

Also, being able to seed aqua farms would be nice

I can't promise this exact thing, but I can say that we are looking at resource distribution

Do you think they’re worthy of being a tier 3 unit in their current state? I believe they and jellies (although jellies have a different attack set up all together, and I think they are worthy of a tier 3 unit) are the only tier 3 units without 3 or higher attack. After a lot of use in multiplayer and polychamps I have yet to find a single scenario where it is worth it to buy free spirit and chivalry with aquarion. By the time you’ve done this and have the SPT to produce multiple your opponent likely has water defense making boats take 3 tridents to kill one or 2 jellies and 1 trident. Meaning it takes 24 stars to kill an 8 star unit (defender in rammer). I agree that old tridents weren’t balanced in any sort but I don’t think current tridents are balanced either.

We like the idea of Tridentions as these mop-up units instead of being "spammable harassment units", as we think it adds more options for synergy with the other Aquarion units.

We are prepping a balance patch which may help alleviate some concerns about the Aquarion, but aren't currently touching the Tridentions any. We'll probably re-evaluate them and their strength after the balance pass.

Brother knights have 3.5 attack and can one shot most units in the game. Tridents can only one shot 1 unit at base as they have 2.5 attack. Additionally persist is SIGNIFICANTLY better on a melee unit and a unit with higher attack.

We originally had them at 3 attack, but there were tons of complaints around them being OP, so we nerfed it to a point that the beta testers agreed was more balanced.

I am going to guess that the "special" tribes are huge money makers for them.

I think we are always going to find them be OP compared to most other tribes. It would be nice if they balanced themselves a bit more - (buff Aquarion)

Iirc, the tribe purchased the most is Vengir
