If a car has a trunk or a “back”, you should be able to put things in it. That way you can also swap items with teammates while in vehicle.
This is currently available on the Porter vehicle on Taego. The team is looking at ways to bring this feature to vehicles added in the future as well.

I like playing it. The squad and I used to own Ha Tinh. Nowadays I love to drop to the hill compound to the right of the bridge and run to the crossroad NE and shoot up some loot trucks. They frequently drive through there. Good way to gear up early on.
Aww man, missed opportunities! Give crossbows a chance, they rock, especially early on.
