Hey viper, glad you enjoy it! The teams are aware and working on a patch to address the issues with textures! Keep your feedback coming! <3

This is so good! As a loot goblin, I would still go for it even though I knew it was a trap.

I love the updated bots with ESP and aimlock, nothing like fighting someone on the outside of a compound, trying to be sneaky, then getting aimlocked by a bot that you literally can't see 100m away through a tree.

Actually just lowered the quality of PUBG games. Why the f**k would you make bots more difficult? No one is impressed when they kill a bot no matter the difficulty. You just made the game more annoying to play.

Hey jaku, I agree that the bots seem overtuned. This is being looked at internally. Keep the feedback coming!

Bro can we tone down the terminator bots FFS. Getting killed by a laser bot through bushes and trees gets old real quick. Bots went from a joke to feared more than players. They used to get kills by pointing you out to real players but now they insta flush you faster than hackers. As if people didn't hate bots to begin with

Hey DarkFugitivE, we are forwarding all sentiment to relevant teams and are aware that the upgraded bots are overtuned. Thank you for your feedback sir!

Finally managed to get a match on Miramar, at sunset I believe. Some of the new texture work, specifically on terrain geometry, is absolutely awful. How did this get approved for release? I never thought Miramar needed a visual rework, but now I do.

Also, why is the sun setting dead north?

Hey CD, we have a patch being prepped that should address the low rez ground textures. The sun appearing in wrong areas of the map is a bug and will be resolved!

Hey, thank you for your feedback. We are forwarding all the sentiment to relevant teams. I agree that the accuracy should be lower.

Miramar looks like a console version of a map now, it looks so low detail. It’s like you’re going backwards when it comes to graphics and you’re trying to compensate solely with more saturated colours.

Hey Belzebutt, thanks for your feedback! Blurry ground textures were not intended and the team is working on a patch to address that.

I actually am loving the graphical changes in Miramar specifically the brightness levels and the color. The sun used to shine too bright and the colors of the buildings were too dark making it hard to see people. Also, I think when it comes to the performance in the same map, it’s gotten better.

Of course, there’s still a lot of work to be done like for example, some of the ground textures need to be reworked.

Other than that, I’m actually hoping every game to get Miramar.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you are liking the new colors. We've got an update coming that aims to improve the ground textures.

OK and the game keeps changing my matchmaking queue to TPP squads whenever I start the game which is a game mode I will never want to play in a million years so can you pass that on to your UI team or whoever?

Can you check if that is still the case? I have played a duo FPP match before the update -> after the update I've switched to solo FPP, played a match and the gamemode remained on solo FPP even after restarting the game.

Is there any chance you could credit me alongside the image? (Not necessary but it would really help me out as a portfolio piece)

Update!

We have added your image to the patch notes and had left you the much deserved credit as per your request, which can be found underneath the Lynx image.

Thank you so much!

Hey thanks Smagjus, I appreciate the follow up.
Good to know that this is a potential troublehsooting tecnique for players, so by stopping the overclocking on your GPU it had resolved this from occurring?

Wow that's super cool and crazy at the same time, have you ever countered this before? I have seen others report random glowing objects before but never really found a follow up answer to it.

Hey Rain, thank you so much for flagging this.

I totally understand your frustration with this as we are constantly doing updates to the Test Servers during this period, it's unfortunate that an update has caused this graphical issue to slip past and make it onto the Live Servers without getting addressed.
With the recent feedback raised regarding this over the last few days, the team has been well aware about this issue and we have a potential fix put in place to try and resolve the low-quality ground texture issues with an update hopefully coming soon. Unfortunately I don't have the exact ETA, but as soon as I have more info regarding this, I will update you all.
Thanks again.

Hey! Rules of Conduct apply on the Test Server. You can report players alternatively to our customer support at https://www.pubg.com/support/.

Bans that occur on the Test Server are also reflected onto the player's Live Server account.

Hey DictactorShadow,
I appreciate you so much for editing this image, our current screenshot of 6 bullets gives some sort of impression there is one in the chamber which is not correct at all. With your permission, would it be possible for us to use this as the replacement image for the Patch notes of the Lynx AMR?

But I am not having any stuttering or fps drop issues. My games and footage wouldn't be of any help to anyone.

Thanks again for the info. I’ll pass on some clips when I play next. Although my FPS drops are not abrupt and are more consistent than stutters. If I stand on a hill overlooking San Martín, for example, my frames will drop to ~70 whilst looking at the city and then climb back to 140+ when looking away. The odd thing is that when frames drop, my cpu/gpu usage drop to almost idle percentages. That’s the main thing that’s confusing me. Also, for clarification, this FPS drop will occur whether the city is full of players or is very quiet.

I wouldn't be able to explain why exactly the usage drops - that is too technical for me but I know from experience of playing many many games on both low end and higher end rigs that this behavior is not unusual. More assets = more things that need to be loaded and rendered = average FPS goes down. This is quite common in games that provide large playable worlds like PUBG does.

Oh yeah I’m not sure how much you can answer publicly. But was there anything in particular found to be impacting performance in built up/highly populated areas?

Performance will naturally tank in these situations due to the amount of load the servers get put to when there are lots of players around all doing what they are doing in large cities et cetera. It is not possible to retain the same performance one has in an open, empty area that has no players vs a crowded large city, but the abrupt FPS drops or stuttering should not happen. This is being investigated and I assume if anything was found, that that would have been fixed already.
