There was an issue recently with this, but this should now be resolved.
Try the following!
1) Go to your game installation folder and delete the folder "Vivox". The path should be: [your drive where you installed the game] Steam\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\ThirdParty\Vivox
2) Once deleted, head to Steam -> Settings -> Downloads -> Clear Download Cache
3) Verify game files by right clicking the game in Steam library-> Properties -> Local files -> Verify integrity of game files.
Then see if this resolves the issue! :-)

Vikendi certainly feels like a meme map now. If you're not rushing the caves at the start, you're at a severe disadvantage. Almost guaranteed lvl 3 gear+thermal scopes for everyone. The map is quickly becoming "Drop at the bears and get op gear, then loot smokes so you can wreck anyone who doesnt have a thermal scope." Its fun in a certain kind of way, but feels very anti-pubg.

lost at least 20-30 frames average from explicitly this patch.
nothing else changed at all, and my pc isnt the newest stuff but its well optimized, clean windows, etc.
