Hey RealityIsHarsh_,

Thank you for reaching out, I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you!

Is this still an issue you're encountering?

If so - do your keys work in other areas of the game? Such as the menus?

Could you also please try verifying the game's files if you haven't done so already and let us know if there are any changes?

Thank you!

Hi RealityIsHarsh_, thank you for getting back to us on this issue with the controls.

There are a few thing you can do to help resolve this issue. One of the best first steps to try, is to verify your game files. If there are any missing files or corrupted game files or supporting software, verifying the games files should fix them.

Here are some instructions on how to do this in Ubisoft Connect -

Here are some instructions on how to do this in Steam -

Next, can I ask if you are using any software in the background other than the game? You may have software that is interfering with the games controls, this can be other game launchers, RGB lighting software and so on.

Please read this support article, if you are using any of these programs, please disable them in Task Manager and restart your computer without them running, then test the game. This article should explain how to do this and what kind of programs to look for - https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000063761

FInally, do you have a controller you can plug into the game temporarily then unplug, whilst in a match to see if this returns the controls to your MnK?

Ah no worries RealityIsHarsh_, thanks for getting back to us.

With this new information you have told me I would also recommend deleting your save profile and config to see if this can reset your settings in game, in case this is caused by the game itself and not an external factor.

The config files for the game are located here by default -
C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\\GameSettings.ini

Deleting this will reset your in game settings and when you relaunch the game, they will be set to default.

Your profiles for customization options are usually located in these locations -
Uplay PC: - C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\635
Steam PC: - C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\\1843

I would make a copy of your profile elsewhere on your desktop first, then delete this to see if this also fixes this keybind/controller issue in game.

Let us know how you get on when you get a chance to test this, as there are a few other things I can suggest that may help also.

Hey RealityIsHarsh_, thanks for getting back to us there and apologies about the delayed response from our team.

In order to try and resolve this, can I ask you to try disabling the General Controller Settings in Steam? (Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings)

If that doesn't help, please note that this issue is something that our team is actively looking into, therefore our apologies about any inconvenience this may be causing in the meantime.
