Anyone else had problems recently with the game crashing on startup before it gets to the main menu. I have not updated any PC components. The game regularly crashes now on the screen where it is connecting to servers. I have send numerous crash reports. It happens on both vulcan and DX versions. I have the latest nvidia driver and have also done a clean install of an older driver version without any difference. I have verified the game files. I am presuming there is a game problem as I only have the issue with Siege. I have never had this issue until recently.

Hello there, Str0ll1ng. I'm sorry to hear you're running into these issues when launching Siege. I'm curious to know if you're able to complete the steps found within the troubleshooting FAQ here to clear your system's performance?

Hey Str0ll1ng, thank you for coming back to us and letting us know what you have tried so far.

I have a few additional troubleshooting steps for crash on start up issues I would like you to try also, when you have exhausted all of the steps in our support article.

Step 1:
Do a System File Check (SFC) for any corrupted system files and a CHKDSK for any corrupted hard drives -

- Press the Windows Key + S
- Search for Command Prompt and right click on it and run as administrator
- Type the following command as it appears sfc/scannow
- Press Enter and wait for the program to check system files, this might take a little while
- After completion close the program and try to launch the game

To check for a corrupted hard drive -

- Press the Windows Key + S
- Search for CMD (Command Prompt) and right click and open as administrator
- Type this following command as it appears CHKDSK (then leave a space and put the letter of the hard drive you want to check with the game on, for example C
- Press enter to begin scan
- After the program has finished running its check, see what errors it may have found

Try also typing in command prompt to try to fix any corrupted files - CHKDSK C: /F
(Replace the C: character with whatever drive letter it is that you are wanting to fix)

Afterwards try launching the game and see if there is an improvement.

Step 2:
- Install game to another Hard Drive or SSD drive preferably, if available. Also try installing the game on the same hard drive as your Windows OS.
- Make sure the game is whitelisted as not a threat in your anti-virus software after the latest game update
- Delete any temporary installation files by doing a search for the %TEMP% folder

Let me know how you get on and if you need any help with the steps above and I will happily explain further.

Thanks Ubi-Milky.
Glad to hear it's sorted out for you. Thanks for the update!

Hopefully thats not too far away.
Hey there.

Can you submit your system files to us if you haven't already done so? They might highlight a potential issue. Hopefully you are correct if the TS seems fine for you but just in case we'd like to see if we can identify a cause.

You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

After you've opened the case if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

MSInfo
DxDiag

Thanks.
