Setup:
cpu: ryzen-5 3600
ram: 16gigs
gpu: rx 5700 xt (latest driver)

So i played a bit with vulkan i did notice a major improvement in frame rates. MUCH more stable high 180fps and in the range of 170-180 and higher. FPS performance wise vulkan implementation seems amazing. BUT I have a 240HZ monitor and when i launch vulkan the monitor gets capped at 60hz. I did check the windows settings and everytime i switch to the game even after i fix the refresh rate settings it still reverts back to 60hz. I tested it both on fullscreen and borderless. And since i get 180+ stable frames and the monitor is capped at 60 i get crazy tearing. Which probably will be fixed once i have run the monitor to the max. Also while in menu i get black artifacts. Kinda like unstable overclock but not that much.

TLDR: Amazing work. Helped stabilize the fps. Using DX11 my fps range from 120-200. Fix the windows setting refresh rate cap. And all is good. ALSO put a frames cap while i operator selection during a match. Run the gpu to the max and hitting 600+ frames while not ingame kinda sucks.

Keep it up.

Hello To_Treloagori! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Vulkan! As it's still in testing, it's great to hear that you're already enjoying it so much. Perhaps you could try verifying the files for Siege in Uplay to see if that makes any differences with the FPS differences you mentioned. All this does is ensure that everything is properly installed, and it's super quick to complete. Thank you, once again, for noting your feedback.

Hey! We can do our best to help you with this.

To begin, I'd like to ask you some questions -

- What PC components are you using?
- What monitor(s) are you using?
- Do you have a multi-monitor setup? If so, how many?
- Is this a new issue, or have you always experienced it with Vulkan?
- How do you know your game is capped? Is the option greyed out in-game?

A video may also help to present your issue clearly

Thank you!

Thanks for the reply Wildthorn23, is it possible you could record a short video for us showing your FPS counter overlay through the Ubisoft Connect settings?

Are you able to tell us the exact model of monitor you have, resolution and aspect ratio?

Are you also able to tell us if you have your Windows DPI settings set to 100% and if not could you adjust them to this value?

The more information we can gather about players individual set ups, the more chance we have of our QA team replicating this with the same set up on our side.

If anybody else is having this issue using Vulkan mode, please make sure to answer the questions above and Ubi-Raziels, thank you.
