Hey. Since the Crimson Heist update i've been having performance issues. Before the update i was getting 61-60 fps. They would never drop to 40 or smth. Well, now they do. I've tried everything possible. Literally everything that i know of. Tried changing the graphic settings from ultra to low everything, display, everything. But nothing worked. Even on low i get 40 fps? On low?? I would like to note that i play on 1600x900 and 4:3 so yes. Imagine. Idk if its my laptop but i dont think it is. I can get stable fps in AC:Unity. AC: God damn Unity. Idk whats going on. I've also open a thread on Reddit because the game was laggy and stuff but a guy told me to disable Match Replay and it worked. No more fps drops for bout a week. Then it got worse. Also, i have these enabled -lowmemory -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -novsync -nomansky -sm4 -d3d10 but still low fps. The game is unplayable and ive wasted 900 hours on it. I dont want to stop playing because of this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you,.

Hello! Sorry to hear your FPS is now much lower, I will do my best to help you.

We don't appear to have any known FPS issues since Operation Crimson Heist, so we may be able to find another cause for this issue.

To start, I'd like to ask some questions -

- What is the name of the laptop you're using?
- What CPU, graphics card and how much RAM do you have installed?
- Using Task Manager or similar software, can you see if your CPU or GPU are at 100% usage when playing? Does changing your graphics settings change this usage?
- What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

We'll do our very best to help you

RAM etc: Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
Total Physical Memory 6.95 GB
Available Physical Memory 2.67 GB
Total Virtual Memory 14.2 GB
Available Virtual Memory 5.43 GB
Usage: None of them have ever hit 100%. They are always at 70-80%. As i said, i have tried everything possible in the game. From Ultra to Lowest, changing the resolution, the Aspect Ratio, verified integrity of the game, everything,

Rn, im thinking of uninstalling and redownloading the game. If that doesnt help idk what will. Ive spent 1000 hours and about 60€ on this game and i want to keep playing. I hope we can find a solution.
Thank you.
Hey there,

Thank you for getting back to us!

Just to check, do you find these drops are happening more with DirectX or Vulkan? If you've been able to test them both

As you're running on a laptop, it would also be worth checking that you're using your laptop's dedicated GTX 1050 graphics card

Please let us know if there's any changes at all!

Hello thotimous.prime, thank you for coming back to us and letting us know you have tried our troubleshooting steps as well as lowering the graphical settings in--game.

Can I ask if you have the option of Nvidia Reflex in the settings for Vulkan mode? This may benefit your latency in game and FPS results.

To enable Nvidia Reflex, download and install the latest Geforce Nvidia driver, make sure your Vulkan version of Siege is fully updated, navigate to the games 'display options' and apply the reflex option.

Could you please make the following changes within your games settings to see if you notice any improvement -

In the Siege settings, navigate to Display and set it to the following -

Resolution: Auto
Display Mode: Windowed
Refresh Rate: 120 Hz
Aspect Ratio: Auto
VSync: Off
Widescreen Letterbox: Off
Field of View: 70 – 90

Next in the Graphics settings, set the following options -

Overall Quality: Custom
Texture Quality: Low
Texture Filtering: Linear/Anisotropic 4X
LOD Quality: Low/Medium
Shading Quality: Low
Shadow Quality: Low
Reflection Quality: Low
Ambient Occlusion: Off
Lens Effects: Off
Zoom-in Depth of Field: Off
Anti-Aliasing: Off

Finally I would also check the speed of your ram as this may help gain some FPS in game. You can do this through by pressing Cntrl, Esc and the Shift key.

If you then check the Performance tab and navigate to Memory, it should tell you the speed of your ram in Mhz. If this is not correct to what ram you have actually installed, you may be able to correct this in your Bios settings by selecting the XMP profile instead of the default profile it may have selected for you. Changing this setting in the Bios if initially incorrect, can help you gain a few more FPS in games.
