I can't play any match ever since the last update. I am not running any cheats. I have Norton Internet Security 360. Windows 10 64bit. I verified the game files and it still gives me this error.

Hello Draekon666, thanks for getting in touch with us about this error code.

This error code 2-0x00019008 usually means a player has been kicked out of the game for inactivity, but this does not seem to be the case for you.

1. To resolve this could you first make sure the games .exe file and the BattlEye .exe file is whitelisted in your antivirus software Norton Internet Security 360.

2. Next could you please make sure the game and BattlEye is set to run with administrator rights -

- Locate the games installation folder for Rainbow Six Siege and BEService or BEService_x64 application file
- Right click on games .exe file and the BattlEye.exe files and select 'Properties'
- Select the 'Compatibility' tab
- Check the 'Run as Administrator box'
- Click 'Apply' then 'OK'
- Do this for both the launchers and games .exe file
- Now try launching the game from its .exe file and also the launcher

Please let me know what happens after trying both steps?

Hey there folks.

Welcome to the forums!

This issue is most commonly caused by a background application being detected as a false positive by BattlEye so I would recommend attempting a clean boot first of all. If this still doesn't help then please try the following:

1) Scan your system for viruses/trojans/spyware and check your RAM for possible defects (using tools like Memtest86). If that doesn’t help, the game’s installation on your harddisk is possibly corrupted – therefore, try to reinstall the game.

2) Do you use the Windows Insider Build? If so can you please test if this issue occurs without it?

3) Please follow our Battleye TS:

o Use newest version of BattlEye
o Whitelist BEService.exe and BEService64.exe in firewall
o Make sure BELauncher has admin rights
o Search for windows updates and make sure your system is up to date.

If after attempting all of these steps you're still experiencing the same issue please let us know. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear that. In that case can you submit your system files to us please? You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

After you've opened the case if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

DxDiag

Excellent! Glad it's sorted out for you. Thanks for the update

Hey again folks!

We have received some reports today that this issue might be being caused by MSI Dragon Center. If you have already done the steps suggested in my earlier post, please do attempt those first, can you try removing the application to see if this helps? I have notified the development team of this recent discovery. Thanks.

Literally i have uninstalled every programs that could be a problem and it didnt work. Then i found the problem it was my windows update. It wasnt updated i just updated the windows version to 20H2 and it works again.
Now i just have a question for ubisoft or battleye. I just wanted to know why the error says "corrrupted files" it wasnt corrupted and i spend 12 hours of work to solve it. It can be said "your windows is not up to date" and so i can spend 15 min to solve the problem not ******g 12 HOURS.
Hello! I'm glad to see the issue is now resolved for you.

Regarding the error - This is a BattlEye error so I don't have much information on this. According to the BattlEye website, this is what it means - "Some (low-level) software on your system performs a disallowed memory operation."

I hope that helps!

Our team are aware of the issue so we'll see how it goes! I'm not yet sure if a solution is in our control, but it's important we make our dev team aware of every issue.

I have also created a sticky thread, to help with visibility on the issue.

Let's hope this is all behind us soon

Hi parallaxx3025, thank you for confirming this issue was also caused by using Gaming mode in the MSI Dragon Centre software.

I am happy to hear you have been able to play again with the program uninstalled, if anything in your situation changes, please let us know in the forums.

I will keep my notice of any future updates added to the Dragon Center software in the future.
