Online multiplayer matches on PC and Console are incorrectly taking place in a server / data center that does not correspond to the nearest location of the lobby's players, resulting in 100+ to 200+ ping for all 10 players regardless if the server has been set to UAE (on PC) or if the server shown on the main menu is UAE (Console).

This issue seems to only affect the UAE North data center / server and has been persistent since March 10th /11th 2022.

Players who usually get hosted on UAE North based on proximity to the server are now are being routed to EU servers (West and Central) and South Africa on 100+ or 200+ ping respectively for all 10 players.

Question: Is there any issue with the UAE servers or maybe they have been decommissioned or is this a techincal error?

The MENA servers should still be operational, but we are in the process of migrating some regional servers, so you could be connected to the incorrect one for your region.

To change this, please try manually changing your data server using this guide >

I understand this issue is frustrating, the team is looking into this. For now, can you let us know if you have tried the steps to manually change the data center? If you haven't tried those, please give it a shot and let us know if anything changes.
