It's certainly a good idea to try connecting with a different connection (such as by using your phone as a mobile hotspot, and tethering to it over wifi). This will allow you to rule out your local network setup as a potential issue. Does it work on a different connection?
Have you ever been able to connect, or do you get this error every time?
If it still doesn't work on another connection, have a read through our connectivity troubleshooting guide,
here. In particular, you'll want to check for software conflicts, and contact your ISP for help establishing an open NAT.
