There are similar issues on Rainbow Six Siege with the Gigabyte 4090. The shadows are flickering and the light can shine through the wall.

The possible cause is that these 4090s, especially those from Gigabyte, have very unstable memory/VRAM that rely completely on ECC to do the job. The VRAM is so unstable to the point where ECC cannot fix the computational error.

Hey @GGiuliano93, thank you for sharing your input on this, it's good to know that the Vulkan API solved the issue. I'll note that down for documentation purposes.

@Lie-nus Thank you for providing clarification, on the work you done prior with Ubi-Oof and thank you for your suggestion.

Unless you're using older hardware or have issues with Vulkan, the R6S team would usually suggest to always use Vulkan.

I can pass your feedback onto the R6S team, regarding driver checks.

If there's anything else we can assist with, let us know.
