Intermittent issue in R6 Siege.

Outlines for friendly operators and icons + names disappear from friendly players' heads. I'm only able to see their outlines through walls but still no operator icon. While realistic, it makes discerning between friendly's and enemies in the spur of the moment incredibly difficult.

UI elements are also lost such as secure progress bar and when defenders runout, I cannot see the icon for where the player is running out. See the image for an example.

Hey @LightPrizym, thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about the number of issue that you ran into.

First, in terms of UI elements as well as icons + usernames missing - could you advise us since when did this start to occur and does issue occur in each and every game or just particular ones? Additionally, are you using Vulkan or DX API?

As far as in-game chat issue goes - can you advise us what happens as you attempt to do so? Does the chat box simply not come up at all? In terms of both of these issues, for testing purposes, you can try resetting your in-game control settings to default, in case if there were any changes made.

In the meantime, if you haven't already, I'd suggest to try verifying your game files and see if issue persists.

Keep us updated!

@meister-_-dido Do you see the option to show teammate usernames in-game via the interface settings? Is it enabled or disabled?

Thank you everyone for contributing to this thread about the new interface issues you have experienced.

To summarize, despite having all HUD and interface options enabled and set to on, you are encountering issues with >

  • Icons disappear
  • Teammates names disappear from friendly players
  • Progress bar for secure defenders disappears
  • Pings do not show
  • Chat does not appear in the chat dialogue box

As you mention this UI issue is happening quite often, is anyone able to capture a video of this happening, then quickly access your options to show all settings are enabled. This is something our Siege QA team will ask for when we report this issue, if anyone can share a clip?
