[2022] R6 Siege won't launch

Hello friends,

I've installed R6 Siege via Ubisoft Connect, as I have Game Pass - When I try running it, either normal or Vulkan, the game gets stuck at this key art on-screen and doesn't progress any further.
I have done the Verify Game Files tool in combination with several restarts, as well as a full uninstall and reinstall, with no luck.

First, if you haven't tried launching Siege from the Xbox application yet, please do so now. If Siege still doesn't launch that way, let's go ahead and knock out the troubleshooting steps in this FAQ from our support site. Those steps will eliminate most common causes of launching/freezing problems, and they'll help us to narrow down the root of the issue. Once those steps are completed successfully, try launching Siege as an admin for good measure. Let me know if this happens again, and if it does, I'll look into this further for you.
