[2021] [Connectivity/Multiplayer]You Keep Throwing Me Into the Wrong Data Center!!

Ever since the Y5 S4 update was released, the game will recognize that I am in the Central Time zone data center but when I join a game it keeps throwing me into eastern time zone servers. I have manually changed data centers in the game.ini file but the problem still persists. No I am not using any VPNs or running any software in the backround.

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

I can see that your thread is in relation to the response I sent you earlier in another thread.

Manually changing your data center (server) does not always guarantee that you will be able to connect to the selected server.

Our server system will always attempt to connect you to the best data center that is available at the time of booting the game, therefore should this not be your usual data center, you may want to try reboot your game and launch at a later time just to see if this remains.

Also, may I just double-check whether your ping is still higher than it used to be?

Can you clarify whether your ping is higher than normal or is it around the same as as in Central?

Before this gets forwarded to our development team, can I ask you what ISP are you using?

I do very much appreciate you for providing this information.

Can I just check whether you happen to use VPN at all? Also, is there any chance you could advise us usernames of your friends who are experiencing this too? If you have their ISP's, that will be ideal.
