Here is my reddit thread to see if was possible for a game to basically reboot my router or shut down my internet. 1 other person had the issue in beta with friends and in my update i point out that last nigh that my internet was brought down twice while playing siege and then played black ops for 3 hrs with no issues. i just need to figure out if this is something with my ISP or Siege and if it's with my ISP what do i need to ask them? i have them sending me a new dsl router/modem to see if that fixes it but wondering if there is things i can try in the meantime.
here is a quick summary of my issues.
When playing siege and mostly during multiplayer i'll have my internet crash on me. i'll get messages saying i've been disconnected from the game, ubisoft server, psn servers, kicked from party, and the message telling me to reconnect my LAN cable. I can look at my phone and see that it no longer has a wifi connection and i can also hear my wife's phone going nuts because it's connected to wifi for calling and texts and it's sending out error messages that it can't connect to wifi, so my internet is most certainly crashing.
the first beta where they sent out invites the only issue i had was long matchmaking but never had any other server issues. Then this last beta i started getting this error and at first jst thought it was my crappy internet and figured it'd be good for launch, but it's not. This only happens in siege as i can play Black Ops and Battlefront with no issues.
What i've tried so far:
rebooting router
disabling uPnP and re-enabling it to make sure it was on
Opening up ports that are recommended
turning off my firewall
none of that has worked. the nat type on PS4 when i test internet is 2 and in game my nat type is moderate, same for black ops, and my ping is usually under 70ms. i own 2 ps4's , one is the old model and one is the new model, both have the same issue.
any help would be appreciated, love the game just wish i could play
