I've just recently purchased Rainbow Six Siege; Deluxe Edition on steam and everytime I launch the game, I get an error from Uplay:

"There was a problem authenticating ownership of this product. Please contact support if you need help in solving this problem."

I've tried reinstalling the game, steam and uplay but it still the same. I'm unable to contact Ubisoft Support at the moment. Need help

Hey,

This error usually means you launched the game originally whilst logged in to a different Ubisoft account.

Please make sure you are logged in to the correct account on Uplay before trying to launch the game.

If you are struggling to get it to launch still and need further help we'll need to speak to you on a support ticket / live chat or social media private messages so we can investigate it and find the correct account with your help.

Before contacting us privately, please can you go to this location on your PC:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership

Can you see more than 1 profile ID here for more than 1 account?

If so, please can you copy and paste all the profile ID's on to your private message to us, as that will help us find the account it's linked to.

You can also provide a screenshot of what's in the folder too and we can find the accounts with the profile ID's.

If you only have 1 profile ID showing there, please also provide your 17 digit Steam ID, as this may also help find the original account it was linked to.

You can find this on your Steam profile page. There will be a URL link near the top. The Steam ID will be the 17 digits at the end of the link.
