I get the error of 0xc000007b when trying to start the game.

I have tried reinstalling the game as well as .NET and directx. I have updated my windows and meet the system requirements so am not sure what else to do. Ive also run siege as a administrator.

Hey there. Welcome to the forums!

Are you using BitDefender? If so there is a known issue regarding this that is under investigation and we hope to have deployed a fix for this issue very soon. Please keep an eye on the Siege twitter account for updates on this.

If not the first thing I would suggest is to attempt each step suggested here. These steps are known to resolve most of the common causes of crashing/freezing.

If after doing so you're still experiencing issues I'd then recommend opening a support case. You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

The reports we’ll need from you are linked below. These should help us to identify any potential cause of the crashing/freezing you’re currently experiencing.

Hey, sorry to read you're facing this issue.

You seem to have follow most of the steps we would usually suggest, however I'd still like to provide you with our troubleshooting support article: https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/faqs/000025947/

- How long has this issue been affecting you for?
- Do you have any screen recording or overlay software running?
- Do you perhaps have another Windows user? If so, does the issue also occur there?

Thank you!

I don't have any other windows user I am using windows 7 but that is allowed in the system requirements. It's been affecting me since Saturday and which afterwards I re-downloaded the game. I am not sure what else to try and it seems that as I just recently bought it I just wasted $14
Hey there,

If the further steps Raziel posted also haven't helped, we'd be happy to look further but will require your system files.

To do this, please open a case on our Support Site and send over your files.
