Dear gamers and ubisoft support staff, I'm in need of your help. First off I tried the ubisoft twitter and they recommended I make a support case and said they would try and accelerate a response. So I made a support case and after 3 days of waiting I got a response, I did everything listed in the response however no fix, I replied saying nothing was working and 3 days later I'm yet to revive a reply.

So whats the problem? Rainbow Six: Siege does not work on my computer, It will run perfectly at 130 frames for about 40 mins then freeze crash. This only happens with ubisoft games, other more demanding games run perfectly and have never crashed.

I'm going attempt to list everything that may be of help to anyone willing to assist me:

PC Specs

Storage: Samsung SSD 960 EVO 500GB this is the only storage I have.
CPU: Intel i7-7700 CPU at 3.60GHz
GPU: NIVIDIA RTX 2060 mini
RAM: 32gb Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2666MHz - White
Internet:: TP-LINK Archer T4U AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB 3.0 Adapter I run my internet through this as my router is too far away for Ethernet

Now I'll go over what I have already tried to fix the problem, in order of what I did first (top being the first thing I did, bottom being the most recent):

Reinstalled NIVIDA drivers
Rolled back NIVIDA drivers
Reinstalled Rainbow Six
Reinstalled uplay
Reinstalled steam
Reinstalled Windows
Factory reset my PC
Reinstalled Rainbow Six
Manually reinstalled 80% of all the drivers the Device Manager

Other things that I've tried:
Disabled Background Applications
Reducing CPU usage in power settings, went down to 50% max usage allowed, got some amazingly low temps but still crashed
Reinstalled all the Microsoft Visual C++ programs

Crash Details
I have begun recording my crashes, you can view them here. When watching Resource Manager during a crash, nothing spikes it remains as if nothing happens. CPU and GPU usage drop after the game closes which is normal.

Anything you might have to say that could help me in any way would be greatly appreciated, the game is unplayable I'm lucky to get through a whole match without crashing. Playing ranked with mates is a nightmare, I will crash upwards for 4 times a game and most of the time be unable to join due to a "connection error" after the third crash and loose my elo and end up being stuck in silver.

Please let me know if running the .exe file for Rainbow Six Siege in compatibility mode for Windows 8 helps with this issue.

Hey BigMcMacc! I've looked into your MSINFO file you provided on your ticket. Your MSINFO file shows that you have MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner installed. Can you either disable or uninstall these programs? They tend to cause conflicts with Ubisoft titles. Additionally, there seems to be a few programs on startup. Make sure you have everything off.
It appears your copy of Windows is not officially up to date. Can you double check for any failed updates?

Sorry to hear you also get this crash too, MelvinArcher. If you have tried the above steps, please create a support ticket on our support website, including Dxdiag and MSinfo files.. Please also list the steps you did try in the ticket to avoid being asked to repeat steps.

Thanks!

I have the same problems as yours. I have a 100% solution, but it requires some sacrifice. Decide for yourself whether it is worth it or not.
My crashes stops after I turn off the ultra settings.

I would like to play with ultra settings and I'm still looking for solutions, but for a while it may help. Good luck.

Please let me know if it helps, or maybe you found another solution.

Thx
Thank you for sharing! I'm glad that the issue has been resolved for you! Could you please provide us with your specs?

Looks like your OS is not updated (and this may cause a lot of issues). Could you please update it and check if it worked for you? Thanks!
