[2021] game freezes and crashes ever since Osa update

Ever since the Osa update and newer, my game has been freezing mid game with no error message, I would need to force close it. I tried Vulcan, the games would crash and the Uplay send error report will come up. I have no issues playing any other games. I only get issues in R6.

Steps I have tried:
-re-verfiying game files,
-reinstalling onto different HDD/SSD,
-move pagefile to different hdd/ssd
-updated windows
-tried Vulcan and regular.
-made sure I have the most up-to date GPU drivers.
-made sure my GPU/CPU temperatures are not overheating
-lowered graphics settings

PC specs:
cpu: CQ2 Q8400
gpu: AMD R9 290
ram: 8 GB
os: Windows 10 x64
