[2020] [Bug/Glitch]Random Abandon penalty while playing Sugar Fright

I played my first match of Sugar Fright about half an hour ago and while I was playing I got an abandon penalty for no reason I was still in the match and I was able to finish the match but when I got out I had a 30 minute ban.

If anyone knows anything about why that could of happened I would really like to know.

Can I just check, were you in a match while this happened or was it after the match?

Hey all,

Do you know if you had any long matchmaking time when queuing for a match previously (maybe last time you played), and decided to leave the queue?

You may have then seen a message to rejoin an ongoing match?

If so, we are aware of that issue and it leading to temporary bans and the dev team are looking into that.

I'm afraid we don't have the ability to remove temp bans unfortunately.

Hey Valiant.Night! I'm sorry to hear this. How long was the ban mentioned to be when you received it mid-match? And how long was left on the timer when the match ended? Did either of you leave prior matchmaking queues at all?
