Every time I play a game, my game crashes out.

Hmm, there is no crash in that log. Do you get the crash where it pops up with an error saying "Oops the game has crashed..."? That mentions a folder, which has both the output_log.txt and an error.log from that specific crash in it, which will have the info we need to be able to help.

If you don't get the popup, try deleting the output_log.txt and then try the game. It should always create a new one, but sometimes forcing it like that can help.

Hey,

Sorry to hear about your issue with the game crashing when you try to view your skins.

Are you on PC or console? Do you get a specific error message when it crashes?

Hey @Daejigukbap

As it's started happening since installing the extra content, can you check to see how much space you have remaining on your drive you installed it to? Is it almost full?

Please can you check through the steps in this article and see if there's anything here you haven't tried yet, as we just need to rule out any of the most common causes of issues on PC first of all.

Another good thing to try is to close Ubisoft Connect, go to your cache folder in your Ubisoft Connect directory and rename your cache folder to something like "cachebackup".

Hey @Detn808! Sorry to hear that you've encountered crashing with the game.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps yet to resolve this issue? This article includes remedies for the most common crashing causes. Please give them a shot, if you haven't yet.

Should the issue persist, could you maybe provide some additional detail. Do you maybe receive any error messages for example?

Has it always been like this? Or it was okay up to some point?

Right click on ck3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.
Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.

If those don't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.log

BoudaWasted said: I already had this problem. But I fixed it back then
How did you fix it back then? And what change or update seemed to make it start happening again after that?

There's a mod error in that log. Please disable ALL mods while we work on this.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/pdx_settings.txt

"setting_framerate_cap"={
version=0
value="off"
}
Did you set that cap to 60? If not please try that.
