I was playing ranked on a completely stable network connection (I checked using the PC guide that ubisoft has) and i was just kicked. When I tried to join back, I kept getting the error code 4-0xFFFOBE25. As a result, I got a temporary ban (48h, because have the same problem since sunday night!). What can I do ? I had just activated a 7 day fame boost !

Hey @LeVertigo, thanks for getting through to us, welcome to forums and sorry to hear about the connectivity issue you ran into.

First and foremost, for troubleshooting purposes, if you haven't already, try completing steps outlined in the following article, and see if it helps.

Should issue persist, do mind that we have received a number of contacts from other players and it's something that is already under further review by our development team, therefore in order to aid the investigation, may I ask you to advise us the following:

  • Do you receive any other codes besides 4-0xFFF0BE25?
  • What is the last exact date / time you were blocked by this code?
  • What region do you live in?
  • Who is your current ISP?
  • Are you playing via Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
  • Do you always get a random black screen or is there ever anything else you're usually doing in-game when this happens?
  • Does this error appear 100% of the time or sometimes?

Let us know and we will take it from there!

Hey there @Capt_1K and @wallhackslol and welcome to the Ubisoft Discussions !

I'm sorry to hear that you received a temporary ban after the degradation of the Rainbow Six: Siege servers. These penalities are issued server side by an automated system and cannot be overturned. You will therefore need to wait until the ban is over. For more information, I recommend checking this article!

Hello @Trraash sorry to see this error code affecting a disruption in your gaming sessions. I can recommend to complete the rest of the steps in our connectivity guide here to include forwarding the port ranges that are specific to Rainbow Six Siege. A few players have also found good results with the workaround below:

  1. Locate your 'GameSettings' configuration file in the game's directory. Commonly your game will install the file at the location Documents\Rainbow Six Siege\GameSettings.ini
  2. Open the 'GameSettings' file and change the "UseProxyAutoDiscovery" value from 0 to 1
  3. Apply and Save your changes

Please let me know if I can provide any extra assistance.
