So since 2 hours i have been having issues connecting to r6 servers. i succeeded once, but when i got invited by a friend it keeps loading unneccessarily long.

As for any concerns regarding my stable connection i usually have in r6: i have never any issues regarding connection and usually when i play rainbow six siege my ping is between 20 to 30. however i have also looked into my firewall to maybe check for any problems with siege but nope. nothing.

I've looked up and can see that game servers are running as intended and there hasn't been any outages around the time of your contact, so could you kindly clarify the following:

1. Which game server are you connecting to?
2. What error message do you receive when prevented from connecting?

That's an ongoing issue since at least yesterday.

Edit: Now getting the infamous [8-0x00000054] error code when trying to connect to Ubisoft servers

it just takes insanely long to load into anything, terrorist hunt, casual, and i did succeed in playing 2 multiplayer games, it just takes really long (7 minutes if im lucky) to load, i dont even get an error message like you have mentioned which would have helped atleast. during the two matches i have played i had a stable ping of 30 and no issues during a match.

and when i finish a match there is no renown gained either.

Really sorry to hear that you are encountering this issue.

I would suggest trying these troubleshooting steps to ensure your network is configured for the game

With regards to renown gained after a match we are aware of there currently being a delay, please see this link for more information
