[2021] Cursor is visible on screen during games & cannot use keyboard while loading

Thanks for posting about these three issues, @krygswyrfer - I can certainly understand that, while not game breaking, they sound frustrating!

Can you have a look at our troubleshooting guide for me? In particular, make sure you've verified the game files (in case any files went wonky during the update), that your Windows install is fully updated, and that you don't have any background programs that might be causing a conflict.

If it still doesn't work, please also try running the game with admin rights (also explained in the guide).

Let me know if none of those steps helps, and I'll have some other ideas we can try

Just to check, were you able to give any troubleshooting steps a try to see if this behaviour changes at all?

We are aware of mouse input loss issues that are being looked into, but those steps may help reduce the frequency.

Thank you for the update @krygswyrfer some players let us know that this issue only occurs for them when running Discord in the background, please disable this on start-up, from running in the background, restart your computer, and relaunch the game to see if the cursor and keyboard issue reoccurs for you?

The guide that was shared with you will show you how to perform a clean boot for conflicting software, in this case, Discord.

Please let us know how you get on, after testing this, so we can let our QA team know the results.

Thank you for getting back to us with this!

We have since had responses noting that plugging in a controller is a workaround for this issue, as is disabling any overlays / overlay enabled software (which can include Discord and it's respective overlay).

Please give these a try too and let us know how you get on!
