Until (I think) the most recent update My mic used to work in game. I can;t get it to work again, and all voice chat seems disabled in game (I've reinstalled, edited gamesettings.info, set default mic & audio etc...). I just see the little connection icon instead of the mic icon, and all other users mic icons are missing in game. Is there something I should do. Could my account have been accidentally banned on voice somehow? Is there something specific I should try?

Hey!

What kind of mic/headset are you using?

Do you have anything running in the background, software wise like a anti-virus, game overlay or overclocking software that might be interfering?

We've had problems lately with anti-virus that meant users had to whitelist their game launcher and Rainbow Six in the program, as it was causing odd behaviour.

At this stage I think the best thing to do would be to escalate a case and your system reports to the Siege team for further investigation. In your message to us please let the agent know you've already performed each step of troubleshooting for this issue.

You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

After the case is open if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

MSInfo
DxDiag
