Is there any workaround?

I bought two copies of this game specifically for myself and my fiancee to play at the same time.

We both have separate gaming PCs connected to the same cable modem. She can log in on her PC, or I can log in on my PC, both PCs can't be logged in on Siege at the same time. I can't remember the last time I encountered a game that didn't take this into account and allow for for it, the best I can remember is that there was some kind of RTS my brother and I were playing about a decade ago that had some issues...

I've tried using DMZ, port forwarding, etc. Nothing. Does anyone else have a similar problem, fixed it in a way I might not have thought of?

I didn't buy this because I wanted to play with random people, or alone, I bought it specifically for a group of friends, my fiancee, and I to play together on the rare occasion our busy lives allow us to have gaming sessions as a group.

Could you make sure that the person who launches the game first, is hosting the lobby? Also, if you've completed the port forwarding steps, ensure that the IP the ports are forwarded to is also the IP that's hosting the game.

I'm not totally sure what you're referring to, smithhampton

Could you provide some more details on what you are referring to?

Have you tried some of the solutions mentioned in this thread?

Hello everyone! Please note that playing on the same network is generally okay, but occasionally some issues can pop up depending a couple of variables such as router settings and overall connection speed.
If both PCs have previously been able to connect to the same game on the same network for you before, try using different DNS settings. We recommend using the Google DNS.
If one or both of the PCs have not been able to connection to the game, you'll want to consider port forwarding for both PCs. You can find out that information on this FAQ.
