If you now have a severe FPS drop make sure your discrete GPU is being utilized and not an onboard GPU (primarily laptop users).
From NVIDIA Control Panel:
3D Settings-> Manage 3D Settings
Tab "Global setttings"
Preferred Graphics Processor
Select: High performance NVIDIA processor

Another option to try if the above doesn't work: Documents > My Games > Rainbow 6 Siege > GameSettings.ini > Change "GPUAdapter=0" to "GPUAdapter=1"

If you navigate to the bottom left of your library screen, select "Add non-Steam game" and then find the executable for the game you wish to add!

It is also worth noting that the DLC maps will all be free.

DLC Operators will be unlockable with either R6 Credits or Renown. You don't need to spend any more than the cost of the game itself to get all of the gameplay content that future DLC will contain. The only content that will be for R6 Credits only are purely cosmetic weapon skins, and boosts.

i have a question myself too. in r6s, will we be separated bu platform or can console gamers decide to join us pc gamers?(which will be a disadvantage to them)

R6S will not be cross platform.
